- Setup the partition on the Amiga (format with AmigaDos) before trying to
- setting up for the Emplant. After you have formatted the partition, run
- your Emplant software. I have mine setup so that each time I run the
- program it goes into the setup screen. Choose "devices" (I think thats
- what it is called) and select the partition you wish to use for the Mac.
- When you 'start emplant' it should boot as normal then pop a requester up
- stating that "drive so and so is not readable. Initialize? . Do so and
- name the drive. Your 300 meg partition is now available for macintosh.
- When you reboot your whole system (ie. back to Workbench) you will get a
- ndos or something about the partition now. Go into HDToolbox and select
- the partition that you had choosen for the mac. Go into advanced options
- and choose filesytem. Change this to custom then back out and select save
- changes to drive. It will NOT erase the data on the drive even though it
- tells you it will. Exit. Now you will have the drive for use on the
- Emplant and the Amiga will not even know it is there (so to speak). Hope
- this helps.
